Created exclusively in collaboration with Welsh Athletics for the 2026 Own The Night campaign, this reflective running scrunchie has been designed to help women stay visible while running during the darker months.

Own The Night is a Welsh Athletics campaign championing women's running and raising awareness of the safety concerns women face when running at night or in the early morning. The campaign aims to empower women to continue running through the winter months with confidence, while encouraging runners and the wider community to help create safer spaces for women.

This exclusive scrunchie has been created especially for Welsh Athletics' Own The Night event on Sunday 25th October 2026.

By wearing it at the event, you're not only adding visibility to your run - you're joining a wider movement encouraging women and their allies to challenge the barriers that can make running at night feel unsafe.

Women should be able to run whenever and wherever they choose without fear.

Welsh Athletics launched Own The Night to raise awareness of the safety concerns women face when running at night or early in the morning, empower women to keep running through the darker months, and encourage the running community to play its part in creating safer, more inclusive spaces.

In 2025, more than 2,100 people took part in Own The Night runs across Wales, with over 60 clubs and groups getting involved.
Size & Fit

Reflective visibility meets a little bit of sparkle ✨

Made with reflective material that catches and reflects light when illuminated, this scrunchie is designed to make you more visible to others when you're out running in low-light conditions.

The reflective material can be seen from up to 150 metres away when light is directed towards it, helping your movement catch the attention of drivers, cyclists and other people nearby.

We've added a beautiful magenta glitter trim around the edge, inspired by the Own The Night campaign, creating a scrunchie that looks just as good in daylight as it does when the reflective material catches the light at night.

Wear it in your ponytail, bun or wrist as a practical running accessory that helps you stay seen and show your support for Own The Night.

Whether you're heading out for an early morning run, an evening club run or simply walking the dog after dark, this scrunchie is an easy way to add reflective visibility to your outfit.

Please remember: reflective accessories are designed to help improve visibility but should always be used alongside other appropriate safety measures when exercising in low-light conditions.
